Today's doll haul from the PO box: chaise lounge, Tonner shoes, turned wooden dowels for furniture making, and a thankfully cheap outfit of questionable size (looks awfully big for being labeled MSD). I also got some Enchanted Doll eyes for Felline, my Dollzone Big Dipper, that I forgot to include. And to top it off, Fairyland wrote me that the sleeping and elf Lucywen heads I sent them are painted with the default faceups and ready to send back to me. They were so nice to do them for me after I had ordered them blank.

Making these tiny plants is the most fun I've had in a while. I love them so much! Look at their tiny cuteness! Look at it! Many of them are in real ceramic vessels too, and the vessels match the plants. I'm geeking out!
I often find that my projects work out in the most wonderful ways. I bought most of these pots a year or so ago. I just liked them, and they were the right scale for my dolls. I figured they would look good in a diorama, but I had no particular use for them. When started this project today, I found myself wishing I had more ceramic pots for my plants than the few I bought recently. I looked through my things, and I remembered I already had them! Beautiful ones! And many of them match the plants. Jasphene, my character who is a natural healer, is one lucky doll. These will go in her diorama. I've decided that she will work with things that grow in the earth: plants, mushrooms, and rocks. And she will also work with things like pollinators (moths and butterflies) that enable those things to grow. I'm so excited about these, especially the tiny crocheted items! Now I can put plants in pots, baskets, and display domes.
